GripLog is designed with your privacy in mind. We believe your workout data belongs to you and only you.
We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to external servers.
All your data is stored locally on your device:
This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly choose to export it.
To see whether new users make it through their first steps, the app sends a few anonymous counts to TelemetryDeck, a privacy-focused analytics service based in the EU:
Each count is sent at most once. Instead of an identifier, every device reports under the same placeholder, so no count can be traced back to you or your device. Counts never include your training data or anything you typed. They carry only general details shared by many people: app version, iPhone model, system version, language and region. TelemetryDeck does not store IP addresses.
GripLog offers optional premium subscriptions processed entirely through Apple's App Store. We do not have access to your payment information. All subscription management is handled by Apple according to their Privacy Policy.
You can export your workout data at any time in JSON or CSV format. Exported files are saved to your device and you control how they are shared or stored.
GripLog uses no advertising or tracking services. The external services are Apple's StoreKit for subscription management and TelemetryDeck for the anonymous counts described above.
You can delete all app data at any time through the Settings menu. Uninstalling the app will also remove all locally stored data from your device.
